WAEC GCE ( for private candidates ) who are not in a secondary school that wish to under WAEC their mode of registration and closing date, instructions, guidelines has been released by the supervising body for the edam.

WAEC ( West African Examination Council) has declared that it will take not more time for the second version of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for a private candidate will be released for the registration, guidelines and procedures to follow to legally registered for the certificate examinations.
Ojijeogu mentioned both the starting day noting that the registration is to start tomorrow being Monday and end by July 6th 2018 for the interested applicants to register for the programme before the closing date, registration starts May 14 and ends July 6, 2018.
The WAEC spokesperson has said that“After obtaining the registration pin, candidates should log on to www.waeconline.org. to finish the process of registering for the WAEC for private candidates
“Walk –in candidates, who wish to write the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated provided they register less than 24 hours to the scheduled time of the paper they intend to write. The walk-in candidate’s fee is 25000 only.”
In Ojijeogu statement made sure to mention that disablility of all kinds are welcome and they are also to register online as well but while filing the form, they must by instructions tick disability option on the WAEC for GCE candiates during the registration “they must state clearly their disabilities: blind, low vision, spastic, speech etc.
“Candidates must conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during registration period.”
Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of N13,950 and a commission of N500 to banks and accredited agents.
WAEC conducted the first series for private candidates in January 2018, while the second series will now hold in August /September 2018.
