Why Court Ordered Jones Abiri To be reminded in Prison
Jones Abiri, the publisher of weekly source magazine has been ordered by a Magistrate court to be moved to prison pending when he would be able to fulfil his bail conditions.

Abiri, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS),  for about 24 months was charged alongside Collins Trueman Opumei, a Senior Assistant to the Governor of Bayelsa State, for a criminal offence.

The duo appeared in court for the first time since after their arrest by DSS in 2016 and has been ordered to be kept in prison for as long as it takes them to fulfil their bail conditions.

The order was given by a sitting magistrate, Chukwuemeka Nweke last week Friday.
